Amber Malone is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York who explores the relationship between concealment and discovery. Originally from Mississippi, she draws on personal memory, history, and psychology to examine how beauty, color, and visual excess can obscure difficult truths. Before pursuing art, Amber worked in international affairs, dedicating almost a decade of her life to policy research and public engagement with think tanks such as The Council on Foreign Relations, The German Marshall Fund, and The Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development in France, Italy, and the United States. These experiences continue to shape her interest in power, perception, and the stories that institutions choose to remember, reveal, or conceal. Her work is part of an ongoing practice investigating the tension between appearance and reality. Her work has also been exhibited at Art Expo New York and Atlantic Gallery and has been represented by Metropolitan Art Atelier on Artsy.
