About
I am a self-taught artist from Jackson, Mississippi, and currently live in Brooklyn, New York. At the root of my creative practice is my passion and past career in human rights advocacy, focusing on migrant and refugee women and children. Both my career and art are based in an engagement with the human condition. Through my brush pen illustrations, I explore themes of dignity, vulnerability, and resilience that echoes my lived experiences.
